Neuromate (Robot Neuronavegador)
NeuroMate stereotactic system is driven by a computer controlled imaging. It is used for spatial positioning and orientation of a tool holder or to direct an endoscope. The tool holder supports standard instruments used in stereotactic.
NeuroMate has been specifically designed and developed for stereotactic neurosurgery applications. Among its innovative features are:
- Preoperative simulation functions.
- Permanent information on the position of a rigid tool preoperative clinical images.
- Postoperative Traceability.
Compared with traditional stereotactic frames, NeuroMate eliminates the limitations of spatial positioning of the instruments automatically and precisely, however, always under the control of the surgeon.
